SGX says exchanges launched tender for Asean trading link

Singapore Exchange said four Southeast Asian securities exchanges invited vendors to provide technology infrastructure for the Asean Trading Link, which it expects to launch toward the end of this year. The four exchanges are Bursa Malaysia, the Philippine Stock Exchange Inc., Singapore Exchange and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

 

Tuan Sing wins tender for Serene House with $99m bid

Tuan Sing Holdings says indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Shelford Properties, has been awarded the tender for Serene House at $99.1 million.

The property, situated along Cluny Park Road, is directly opposite the proposed Botanic Gardens MRT station and the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This exclusive site is also in the vicinity of schools such as Raffles Girls’ Primary School, Nanyang Primary School, Singapore Chinese Girls’ Primary School, Anglo-Chinese School and Hwa Chong Institution.

Keppel off 0.9%; Petrobras cancellation report

Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) off 0.9% at $10.88 and SembCorp Marine (S51.SG) +0.2% at $5.09 after offshore & marine newspaper Upstream reports Petrobras is set to cancel a tender for chartered ultra-deepwater rigs, which would be built in Brazil (the tender’s Section C), after receiving bid prices more than 20% above average global rates.

America Movil to bid for Telekom?

A Serbian Finance Ministry official has announced that America Movil will buy tender documents in the process of the Telekom Srbija sale. State Secretary Vuk Đoković told Tanjug on Sunday that the U.S. company owned by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is expected to next week buy the documentation for the tender, that was called to sell a 51 percent stake in Serbia’s state-owned telecommunications company.

Telekom tender deadline extended

The Serbian government has extended the deadline for interested parties to buy the tender documents for the purchase of a 51 percent stake in Telekom Srbija. The deadline is now December 10, it was announced in Belgrade on Thursday.

Soilbuild wins tender for Yishun site with $64m bid

Mainboard-listed Soilbuild Group Holdings has been awarded the tender for an industrial site at Yishun Street 23 / Yishun Avenue 9 (Parcels 2, 3 & 4) with its bid of $64.01 million.

With a site area of 46,548.90 square metres and a gross plot ratio of 2.5, the site can be developed into a business space with maximum gross floor area (GFA) of 116,372.25 square metres (1,252,631 square feet). Based on the maximum allowable GFA, the land cost is $550.06 per square metre per plot ratio.

URA awards $250m tender to redevelop Capitol Building

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) yesterday awarded the $250 million tender for the Capitol Building commercial site to Capitol Retail Management, Capitol Hotel Management and Capitol Residential Development.

The 1.43 ha land parcel is located at the junction of Stamford Road and North Bridge Road. Occupying a prime location in the Civic District, the vision is for the site to be developed into a mixed-use development that will contribute positively to the built environment, and the lifestyle and entertainment offerings within the city.

Top Global surges on site tender win

Shares of Singapore real estate firm Top Global <TPGB.SI> surged as much as 200% on Thursday after a local newspaper reported that it had won a tender for a landmark site as part of a group of investors.

At 0218 GMT, Top Global shares were trading at $0.015 on a volume of about 490 million shares.

Tender for Telekom sale announced

A tender announcement for the sale of 51 percent of Telekom Srbija has been published in Belgrade daily Politika and London’s Financial Times.

The Telecommunications and Information Society Ministry points out that they expect the Serbian telecommunications company to be sold in the beginning of 2011 at the earliest.

Nobel Design unit wins tender for freehold land at 11, 13 Lim Tua Tow Road

Nobel Design Holdings says its Urban Lofts has been won the tender to acquire the Glenville freehold land at 11 & 13 Lim Tua Tow Road for $39.51 million.

The site area is 43,335 sq ft and is adjacent to New Gardens, 7-9E Lim Tua Tow Road.

Urban Lofts is a Joint Venture company set up by Nobel Design, Aspen Development, A.C.T Holdings and individual Soh Chooi Lai for the development of the property at New Gardens.

Sim Lian unit submits top $160m bid at Hougang Ave 7 site

Sim Lian Group says wholly-owned subsidiary Sim Lian Land has submitted the top bid of $160 million tender for a land parcel Hougang S18 at Hougang Avenue 7 for condo housing development. If awarded the land tender, the company says it would likely build 400–450 units of two- to four-bedroom apartments on this site.

Wee Hur Development won the tender for the industrial site at Kaki Bukit Avenue 4 in Singapore with a $76.8 million bid, the Urban Redevelopment Authority said in an e-mailed statement today.

Tuas Technology Park & OPH Marymount have been awarded the tender for a residential site in Jalan Eunos after submitting the highest bid of $257.8 million, Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority said in an e- mailed statement today.

Aztech wins second LED lighting project tender for public housing

Mainboard-listed Aztech Group says its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aztech Technologies Pte Ltd, has been awarded a $2 million contract by Aljunied Town Council to supply and install LED lighting for public housing estates.

The win marks the second public housing project in Singapore to deploy eco-friendly and energy-efficient LED lighting. Earlier this year, Aztech was awarded a contract by Jurong Town Council to supply and install LED lighting for selected public housing blocks.

SingXpress wins tender to buy Foh Pin Mansion for $21.2m

SingXpress says it has won the tender to acquire the property located in Foh Pin Mansion at Charlton Road for $21.2 million.

The property is an existing block of 21 units of walk-up apartments covering a total site area of 3,173 sqm. The permissible total gross floor area for construction is 4,292 sqm for residential use.

MCL Land unit wins tender for Hougang Ave 2 land parcel

MCL Land announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, MCL Land (Serangoon)’s tender for the land parcel at Hougang Avenue 2 has been accepted by the Urban Development Authority. The property, comprising a land area of 30,195.5 square metres, was awarded at the tender price of $207,500,000. It will be on a leasehold term of ninety nine years. The property will be developed into a condominium with estimated 450–500 units.
