Dell and T-Mobile have joined forces to produce the 7-inch Streak 7 tablet, specifically designed for T-Mobiles 4G network. Unveiled at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the tablet joins other Android-based devices flooding the market. The Streak 7 will hit store shelves “in coming weeks,” according to T-Mobile and Dell, although neither company is yet offering a firm price-point.
Adding two inches to the screen-size of the original 5-inch Dell Streak but keeping many of the same hardware and software notes, the Streak 7 is a device whose form-factor seems tailored to compete with other 7-inch Android-based tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
