‘CARE INNOVATIONS’ Unveiled as Name for Sacramento-based Joint Venture

FAIRFIELD, Conn. and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 3, 2011 – GE (NYSE:GE) and Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) announced that Intel-GE Care Innovations LLC (“Care Innovations”) is the name of their healthcare joint venture and that the company is operational starting today. QuaidÂ’s birth anniversary today

LAHORE – The nation will celebrate the 134th birth anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with national spirit and enthusiasm on Saturday (today).
The day has been announced a public holiday in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The national flag will be hoisted at all government buildings throughout the country. The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and prosperity and development of the country.
A 31-gun salute and 21-gun salute would be given in the Federal capital and provinces respectively.
The three services chiefs and people from all sections of the society will lay floral wreaths on behalf of their respective services at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi. A number of political, social, cultural and educational organisations have chalked out programmes to mark the occasion in a befitting manner.
In Lahore, one of the main functions will be held at the Alhamra Hall, Shaarey Quaid-e-Azam at 10 am under the auspices of the Nazaria-e-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Tehreek-e-Pakistan Workers Trust.
The function will be presided over by Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while guest of honour will be President Azad Jammu Kashmir Raja Zulqernain Khan.
Senator SM Zafar, Zahid Hamid, Justice (Retd) Nasira Iqbal, Dr Muhammad Ajmal Niazi, MNA Bushra Rehman, Prof Humayun Ahsan and Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali will also attend the function.
The PML-N Youth Wing will carry out a rally from Nasir Bagh to Faisal Chowk and will perform cake cutting ceremony for both Quaid-i-Azam and PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
