Echo & The Bunnymen: North American Tour Dates

POST-PUNKERS LINE UP NORTH AMERICAN DATES;
BAND WILL PLAY FIRST TWO ALBUMS IN THEIR
ENTIRETY

British post-punk legends Echo & The
Bunnymen have announced the North American leg of their acclaimed Crocodiles & Heaven
Up Here tour. The band will be playing those two legendary albums in their entirety. The UK leg of the tour
saw the band play to rapturous sold out audiences. See a clip of them playing the Crocodiles track Â“Stars and StarsÂ”
at Liverpool’s Olympia below.

Echo & The Bunnymen toured North America last year in support of their acclaimed album The Fountain.
They kicked off the run of dates with a thunderous performance at Coachella and stormed their way from coast to

Kalamazoo’s Greensky
Bluegrass and Chicago’s Cornmeal, are Joining forces for a five-night co-bill tour of the East Coast’s warmest
clubs. The bands will alternate nights of headlining.

Both acoustic units are currently touring off the release of new CDs, Greensky Bluegrass offering a limited-edition,
double live release All Access: Volume 2 and Cornmeal with Live in Chicago. Greensky Bluegrass is
offering a free download of Â“I’d Probably Kill YouÂ” from the double live disc here.

After a wild 2010 that saw Phosphorescent release Here’s To Taking It Easy, tour the western world
multiple times over, and perform on The Late Show with David Letterman, the band is deservedly taking a
winter hibernation.

This break ends in April as Phosphorescent heads back out on tour for another spin around the globe, headlining
tours in both North America and Europe. Along the way Phosphorescent will perform at Coachella and the
Stagecoach music
festival, both in Indio, CA. In May the band will also perform at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain.
Expect more summer festival announcements coming soon.

Meola joined rising young stars Rodrigo y Gabriela onstage in Paris for an intimate performance. The Mexican guitar
duo sat down before the show to talk about what playing with guitar master Di Meola meant to them. Check out the

BLACK ANGELS ANNOUNCE SPRING HEADLINING TOUR

The Black Angels

The Black Angels will be
heading out on a headlining tour this spring in support of their latest release, Phosphene Dream. The tour
will kick off at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, LA, on March 31 and conclude with a home state stop in Dallas, TX, at
The Loft on May 21. In between these dates, they will also be performing at their third annual Austin Psych Fest,
which will take place April 29-May 1.

Fleet Foxes Announce New Album & World Tour

FOLLOW UP TO 2008 DEBUT OUT MAY 3; TOUR STARTS APRIL 30

On May 3, Fleet Foxes will
release Helplessness Blues (Sub Pop/Bella Union), the much-anticipated follow up to their 2008
self-titled debut. The release of the twelve-track album will coincide with the band’s first North American tour
dates since August 2009 followed by a string of UK and European dates. The tour will begin in Vancouver on April
30 and end in London, England. More tour information, including North American ticket pre-sale, provided below.
Fleet Foxes have made the title-track of the album available for download now.

Beginning Tuesday, February 1 at 9:00 AM Pacific time, tickets for the North American leg can be purchased online

San Francisco’s The Fresh &
Onlys have announced a Spring 2011 tour to support a forthcoming EP on Sacred Bones.

Play It Strange is the third full length album recorded in just over two years since the band’s inception with
previous albums out on Woodsist and Castle Face. This newest album is also the first recording done outside the
band’s own analog home studio. Hot on the heels of touring and arranging these new songs live, Play It
Strange was furiously recorded and mixed in one week with Tim Green (Fucking Champs, Comets On Fire) at
Louder Studios in order to better capture the muscularity and depth of the band’s live performances.
