Apple’s iBookstore joins the App Store and iTunes Store to provide applications and content for the iPad. The iWork applications Numbers, Pages and Keynote further help to differentiate the Apple iPad from Amazon Kindle and other book reader devices. Apple CEO Steve Jobs claims that between Apple iTunes, App Store and now iBookstore, 125 million credit cards are enabled for one-click shopping on Apple devices, a big motivator for application development in the Apple world.
