Serbia’s public gas company Srbijagas and Russia’s Gazprom today signed a contract to set up a joint company for the underground gas storage in Banatski Dvor. Srbijagas General Director DuÅ¡an Bajatović and Gazprom Germania Executive Director Andrei Biryulin signed the contract.

The head of the joint Serbo-Russian enterprise for underground gas storage in Banatski Dvor should be named in the next few days. This is according to State Secretary with the Serbian Ministry of Energy Dušan Mrakić, who told Tanjug that immediately after that the enterprise will be registered.

Srbijagas General Director Dušan Bajatović has signed agreements with the American AG Equipment company and Austrian Integral Montage. The contract with the American company was signed for the delivery of a compressor aggregate for the underground gas storage facility of Banatski Dvor.
