Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has started his visit to Serbia, during which he will confer with officials on bilateral cooperation and Serbia’s EU integration.
Orban was welcomed in Belgrade this Friday by Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković.

President Tadić visits Montenegro

Serbian President Boris Tadić and Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanović say the two countries have achieved significant results in fighting organized crime.
Vujanović told a joint news conference after the meeting that the agreement on extradition signed recently between the two countries shows their willingness to uncompromisingly crackdown on organized crime.

President visits earthquake town

President Boris Tadić said the state will do everything it can to help people in Kraljevo and other areas affected by the earthquake. “The government will do everything it can to procure construction material, of which there is plenty, from storage facilities,” said Tadić who underscored that for now it is necessary to repair houses and apartments damaged in the earthquake.

MUP adds up cost of unrest, state visits

The Interior Ministry (MUP) has spent a total of RSD 150mn to secure the Belgrade gay parade, Hillary Clinton’s visit, and last weekend’s football derby. This is according to Interior Minister Ivica Dačić, who spoke in Belgrade on Monday.

Serbian FM Vuk Jeremić is visiting Slovenia and he will speak to his hosts about Serbia’s EU integration and the planned Belgrade-Priština dialogue on Kosovo.

Hague Tribunal President Patrick Robinson is in Belgrade to present a regional project aimed at training judiciaries to prosecute the accused for war crimes. EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele is in Belgrade for talks with Serbian officials about Serbia’s further EU integrations and concrete steps.
Fuele was expected to give a message of encouragement to Serbia to commit to key challenges of the European reform agenda, including justice, combat against corruption and cooperation with the Hague Tribunal.
