Croatia receives list of suspects

The Croatian Justice Ministry confirmed that it received from Serbia the list of 33 of its citizens against whom war crimes probes were or are being conducted. They added that investigations had been suspended for 26 of the persons from the list, whereas for the remaining seven the investigation is still ongoing.

Suspected war criminal remains in custody

A court in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday rejected an appeal lodged for the release of suspected Croat war criminal Tihomir Purda. He is indicted in Serbia for war crimes, and the court’s decision comes after it prolonged his extradition custody on Serbia’s request on January 20.

“Scandalous” verdict for Kosovo Serb

22 Kosovo Serbs accused of war crimes

The court in Stockholm has decided to extended the custody period of the 33 year-old Serb suspected of having committed war crimes in 1999 in Kosovo. According to the DPA news agency, the suspect, who was arrested in Sweden, must be indicted by May 7.
