PEC says it has won a $78 million project works contract from Tuas Power Utilities (TPU).
Under the contract, PEC will provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a pipe rack and utilities piping reticulation system in TPU’s Tembusu Multi-Utilities Complex in Jurong Island.

Chip Eng Seng Corporation says wholly-owned subsidiary, Chip Eng Seng Contractors (1988) Pte Ltd, has been awarded a $90 million by the Housing & Development Board for building works at Hougang Neighbourhood 9 Contract 12.
The contract comprises of the construction of six blocks of residential buildings with 699 dwelling units, a multi-storey carpark and community facilities. The construction period is approximately 31 months.

OKP Holdings, the infrastructure and civil engineering firm, today announced that it has won a $1.1 million contract for land reclamation works on Jurong Island.
OKP says the contract was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Or Kim Peow Contractors. Work on the foreshore reclamation project has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Serbia and the EU will try to find a solution for opening a dialogue between Belgrade and PriÅ¡tina about disputable issues through a resolution. This is according to an article in Belgrade’s Politika daily today, which writes that “this means that Belgrade and Brussels would find a way to modify Serbia’s draft resolution which was sent to the UN (General Assembly)”.
