Intel Rolls Out ‘Jasper Forest’ Xeons

Intels new Xeon C5500/C3500 series is aimed at dense data center environments for embedded devices, networking and storage. The new chips, once known as “Jasper Forest,” include integrated PCIe and I/O features, and consume 27 watts less than the Xeon 5500s used in servers.
